Rhyd is a family business established on the ‘Rhydfwyalchen’ farm in West Wales. It was founded in 2023 as a result of losing cattle to TB. As a result, it was decided to move into a completely new field and to diversify entirely. With a strong interest in wood and metalwork, the decision was made to develop that interest and start a business.

Keeping close to our roots, it was decided to design our logo based on the farm’s name by splitting it in two – ‘Rhyd’ as the name and the design itself representing the blackbird (‘Fwyalchen’). Creating unique quality products for the home is our aim, using materials from local companies. Every product is carefully designed and personally made by us. 

It has been a very exciting adventure and we are grateful for your support. As a family we look forward to the future!
